Goldbridge Investment Club is opening its 2026 application phase from 22 January to 28 February. We look forward to welcoming new members!
As Luxembourg’s first student-run investment club combining education, research, and real-world exposure, Goldbridge offers motivated students the opportunity to work in teams that mirror professional standards in finance, law, and consulting.

For this application phase, we are recruiting members for four core teams:

·         Financial Analysis

·         Portfolio Management

·         Legal Analysis

·         Consulting

Each team is structured into sub-groups, allowing members to specialise while contributing to a shared objective. This article explains what each team does, how they are organised, and how to apply.

Who can apply

Goldbridge is open to:

  • Luxembourgish Students and students studying in Luxembourg.

  • Both beginners and more advanced profiles

  • Motivation, curiosity, and reliability matter more than prior experience.

How to apply

To apply follow these steps:

  • Click “Become a member” (Link: https://www.goldbridge.lu/inbetween)

  • Choose your orientation

  • Fill out the forms and attach your CV

After you have completed the forms, we will contact you in the coming days with more information and an invitation to an interview.

 

The Interview

In general, the interview consists of 2 parts. The first part are personality questions; this helps us understand your motivation and persona. The second part contains technical questions; we want to understand how you think and what your knowledge level is.

Please note that every team has a different technical interview and you will receive more information about your specific interview in our mail to you!

 

Financial Analysis

The Financial Analysis team focuses on understanding markets, companies, and economic developments through structured research. The team is divided into two subteams, each with a clear focus.

Article Writing

This subteam focuses on writing articles on financial, economic, and political topics.
Articles are published on our website under the Articles section and are designed to make complex topics understandable while remaining analytical and well-researched.

Macro Trends

The Macro Trends subteam focuses on creating regular reports on Europe and the United States by analysing macroeconomic developments such as:

  • Currencies and exchange rates

  • Government spending

  • Central bank communication

  • Market sentiment and related indicators

These reports are used by the Portfolio Management and Consulting teams to support decision-making and analysis.

Additional note

All members of the Financial Analysis team will contribute to one article published in Paperjam.

 

Portfolio Management

The Portfolio Management team manages Goldbridge’s €5,000 real-money investment portfolio. Members work on analysing investment ideas and contributing to structured decision-making within the team.

The team is divided into three focus areas, allowing members to specialise while working together on portfolio decisions.

Macro Analysis

This team looks at broader market and sector trends, stock selection, and economic developments that influence investment opportunities.

Financial Analysis & Modelling

This subteam concentrates on analysing financial statements and building valuation models, such as DCF and CAPM, to assess potential investments.

Presentation & Reporting

The Presenters are responsible for writing investment reports, preparing and pitching presentations, and creating visuals used to communicate investment ideas and portfolio updates.

This structure ensures that analytical work, valuation, and communication come together in a coherent investment process.

 

Legal Analysis

The Legal Analysis team brings together students who are interested in how law shapes finance and business. Members work on structured, academic-style articles that allow them to deepen their expertise, build a strong personal portfolio, and contribute to broader legal and financial understanding.

Please note that this team is open exclusively to students with a law background.

The work is analytical and publication oriented. Articles may be written:

  • For personal portfolios

  • To showcase legal reasoning and expertise

  • For a broader audience, helping readers understand new laws, reforms, and regulatory developments

Core areas of focus

The team works across four main legal domains:

  1. Tax

  2. Banking & Finance

  3. Corporate Law

  4. Investment Funds

What you will do

  • Research legal topics within one or more core areas

  • Write structured legal articles

  • Translate complex legal developments into clear, understandable insights

  • Build a collection of work you can reference academically or professionally

 

Consulting

The Consulting team works with startups in Luxembourg in collaboration with PULSE. Members support early-stage companies by working on real business challenges and developing structured, practical recommendations.

Consulting projects are carried out on a pro bono basis, with a strong focus on learning, teamwork, and real-world exposure.

What you will work on

Projects typically focus on the following areas:

  • Market analysis, helping startups understand their target markets

  • Competition analysis, assessing competitive landscapes and positioning

  • Growth strategies, including go-to-market and expansion ideas

Members work in small project teams over defined project periods, allowing everyone to take responsibility for specific parts of the project.

Project structure

Each project follows a clear structure, from understanding the startup’s situation to delivering concrete recommendations. This includes:

  • Analysing the startup’s challenges and relevant data

  • Developing structured insights and solutions

  • Preparing professional deliverables

  • Presenting recommendations and ideas directly to the client

This team is a good fit for students who enjoy problem-solving, presenting, and working closely with real companies.
